1. Overview

At Smesh.dev, we stand behind the quality of every tool and extension we sell. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with a product, this Refund Policy outlines how and when you can request a refund.

This policy applies to all purchases made directly through smesh.dev, including browser extensions, SaaS tools, and any other digital products offered on our platform.

2. Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund

  • +Purchases made within the last 14 calendar days.
  • +Products that do not function as described on the product page.
  • +Duplicate purchases made in error.
  • +Accidental purchases where the product has not been downloaded or activated.
  • +Subscription renewals if cancellation was requested before the renewal date but not processed due to a system error.

Not Eligible

  • -Purchases made more than 14 days ago.
  • -Products that have been substantially used or consumed (e.g., API credits, data exports).
  • -Products purchased during a clearly marked non-refundable sale or promotion.
  • -Refund requests due to a change of mind after the 14-day window.
  • -Products that are incompatible with your system if compatibility requirements were clearly listed on the product page.
  • -Accounts that have been terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.

3. How to Request a Refund

Contact Us

Send an email to refunds@smesh.dev with your order number, the product name, and a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.

Our team will review your request within 2 business days. We may reach out for additional information if needed.

Approval

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. The refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-7 business days, depending on your payment provider and financial institution.

4. Subscription Refunds

For subscription-based products, you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period -- you will continue to have access until then.

If you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you are eligible for a full refund of the first billing cycle.

Refunds for subscription renewals are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you forgot to cancel before a renewal and have not used the product during the new billing period, we will generally process a refund.

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days if you have not substantially used the product during that period.

5. Browser Extension Refunds

Browser extensions purchased through smesh.dev are fully covered by our 14-day refund policy.

If an extension was purchased through a third-party marketplace (e.g., Chrome Web Store), refund policies of that marketplace apply. We recommend contacting the respective marketplace for refund requests on those purchases.

If an extension stops working due to a browser update and we are unable to provide a fix within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a refund regardless of the purchase date.

6. Partial Refunds and Credits

In certain cases, we may offer a partial refund or store credit instead of a full refund. This may apply when: (a) a significant portion of the product has been used; (b) the product was purchased as part of a bundle and you wish to return only one item; (c) you are outside the 14-day window but have experienced a genuine product issue.

Store credits do not expire and can be applied to any future purchase on smesh.dev. Store credits are non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly at refunds@smesh.dev before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving all issues fairly and promptly.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in temporary suspension of your account pending investigation. If the chargeback is found to be unwarranted, we reserve the right to recover associated fees.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances can arise. If your situation does not fit neatly within the guidelines above, please contact us. We evaluate each case individually and strive to reach a fair resolution.

Examples of exceptional circumstances include: serious illness or medical emergency, natural disasters affecting your ability to use the product, or product discontinuation by Smesh.dev.
